Nyambura Shani is the Managing Partner of Shani & Company Advocates LLP and an experienced legal practitioner with a strategic, practical and solutions-oriented approach to complex legal and commercial matters.
She advises businesses, investors, institutions and individuals, combining technical legal expertise with commercial judgement to identify risk, solve problems and develop practical solutions aligned with her clients’ objectives.
Nyambura leads the firm’s Real Estate and Finance practice, with experience spanning property acquisitions and disposals, property development, commercial leasing, securities and financing transactions. Her practice also encompasses Corporate and Commercial Law, Banking and Finance, Governance, Immigration, Employment and Regulatory Advisory.
She advises both local and international clients on corporate structuring, commercial transactions, contractual relationships, governance, regulatory compliance and cross-border business matters.
Her Master’s degree in International Relations complements her legal practice by providing an additional perspective on cross-border business, institutional governance and the wider environments in which clients operate.
As Managing Partner, Nyambura provides strategic direction to the firm and leads its continued growth, development of its people and strengthening of its service standards. She remains actively involved in significant and complex matters, particularly those requiring strategic oversight, commercial judgement or multidisciplinary legal input.
